How it works

What these points represent
- Both ends of each decimal grid are included. Each latitude and longitude is chosen independently with repeats allowed; points are not uniformly distributed over land or Earth's surface area.
- Minimum bounds must be no greater than maximum bounds. Rectangles cannot cross the date line. The local plot makes no map, access, or travel recommendation; it never requests your location.
Which download format should I use?
TXT and JSON preserve the generated values. CSV adds an apostrophe before values that a spreadsheet might treat as formulas; choose TXT or JSON when you need the original value.
